The Yamaha Warrior 350 has proven to be one of the most reliable Sport ATVs Yamaha ever produced with a 17 year production run there's still plenty of Yamaha Warrior 350's out there just needing a little love.
We originally purchased this to part out but decided to do a little build to showcase not only the Parts and Accessories we offer but also that the Yamaha Warrior 350 is still a capable ATV for weekend warriors and Hare Scramble racing.
One of the first areas of modification was the suspension. We went with American Star Racing +2 STD Travel Arms paired with revalved Yamaha YFZ 450 Shocks. The shocks are not a direct bolt on the upper shock mounts must be raised.
Another major area needing improvement is the seating position- we went with a Hi Flite Desert Seat - despite that extra tall look the rider triangle matches that of modern 450s and provides much more comfort. We also upgraded the foot pegs to a much wider peg using extensions for a Yamaha Banshee.
Any Sport ATV fan should be happy DG is continuing to make products for these. The DG V2 slip on drops weight , looks better and sounds great- we paired this with a Pro Design Pro Flow intake , modified accelerator pump and some jetting to get it running perfectly.
Out back we went with an Extended Axle to match the front, a TM Designs Chain guide and a DG Baja Skid Plate for the swingarm and chassis.
For Controls we went with some +2 Risers , 14 Degree Fasst Flexx Bars with some Cycra Pro Bend Handguards. We topped off the look of this beast with a Fourwerx Can Am DS 450 Carbon Fiber Hood since the headlights will not be used this provides a new updated look for the Yamaha Warrior 350.
We used XFR Bumper and Grab Bar and Alba Nerf Bars and Beadlock Wheels. Graphic were done by Aggressive Graphix.
We also opted to go with a Honda TRX 400EX thumb throttle paired with a TRX 90 lever.
This Warrior 350 performed perfectly competing in several rounds of the NYOA Hare Scramble Series with a very capable Female Rider . In NYOA riders compete for nearly 2 hours on some of the roughest terrain and a variety of weather conditions, the Warrior never missed a beat!
